Palouse Prairie’s new home will be a short walk from the proposed “Edible Forest” park. The city is soliciting name suggestions for the park! Please check out the info from their Facebook post:

Help Us Name The New ‘Edible Forest’!

The City of Moscow is in the process of choosing a name for a new ‘edible forest’, and we’d love to hear your ideas about what to call it! This unique 4-acre park, which will be planted with food-bearing trees, shrubs, and other flora, will be located between Southview Avenue and Indian Hills Drive, just off of South Main Street/Hwy 95 South near The Grove apartment complex.

Everyone is invited to suggest a name! Nomination forms are available at the Hamilton Indoor Recreation Center (1724 East F Street), the Moscow Public Library (110 South Jefferson Street), or Moscow City Hall (206 East 3rd Street), or you can email your suggestion to dschott@ci.moscow.id.us. All suggestions received by 5:00 pm on October 10, 2018 will be considered.

For more information, please contact Moscow Parks and Recreation at 208.883.7084.
