It was a busy and exciting end to January in Kindergarten.

KinderCrew had the opportunity to have morning meeting with 1st grade and reading buddies with 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade! The kindergarteners enjoy having an older student to spend time with just them, while the older students enjoy the responsibility of a mentoring role.

For expedition, every student created a beautiful foil collage of different types of weather. We will help inform the school of the upcoming weather by turning their art into weather cards for a calendar. We also did a world tour in our imaginations to discover what weather is like around the world. Many students decided Antarctica would be a great place to visit in December.

For a fun math activity (and challenge) students wanted to create their own dice. There was varied success, but all students had fun and were willing to take on the challenge!

It was a quick and exciting January, I can’t wait to see what the future months bring!
