Our newest state report card numbers are in, and they tell a wonderful story about what happens when hands-on, expeditionary learning meets a community that believes in every student. Palouse Prairie students posted 77.7% proficiency in ELA/Literacy and 70.6% in Mathematics, well above Idaho’s state targets of 54.6% and 43.6%, along with 70.3% in Science. Each of those marks also came in ahead of the Moscow School District averages.

The growth story may be the best part. Reading proficiency on the Idaho Reading Indicator climbed from 60.2% in the fall to 87.0% in the spring, a jump of nearly 27 points over a single school year. Our students are making real, measurable gains, and teachers and families behind them every step of the way.
