Our Board of Directors works very hard to help support our teachers, administrative staff, and our families. In order to be responsive to parents’ needs, they need to hear from you. Please take the time to complete the short survey found at this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/7WCB267  Your input will be used to help the Board set strategic goals, create work plans, and evaluate our Executive Director.  We appreciate all constructive feedback, but comments that are specific are particularly useful. Your responses are completely anonymous.

School closures due to inclement weather will be announced through area radio stations, on Facebook, and to our Family email list. If Moscow School District is closed due to road conditions, PPCS will be closed too!

Teacher Work Day on December 21. An art workshop will be available. Space is limited so register early. Cost is $20 for the first student and $10 for siblings. Applications can be found here.

Moscow Elementary Jazz Choir begins December 13 for students in grades 3 through 6.

Rehearsals are held Mondays and Thursdays from 3:20-4:30 in the Russell School music room. There will be  a few Saturday morning and Monday holiday rehearsals. Cost is $35.00, checks may be made payable to Moscow School District. If the cost for the choir would prevent your child’s participation, please call or write Mrs. Steckel at 208-882-2715, 208-882-2714, or steckell@msd281.org.

Thinking of the holidays . . . Please consider using AmazonSmile when shopping and choose Palouse Prairie Charter School as your charity choice! You can find details at this link. AmazonSmile is a website operated by Amazon with the same products, prices, and shopping features as Amazon.com. The difference is that when you shop on AmazonSmile, the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price of eligible products to the charitable organization of your choice. Imagine if all our families and their families used AmazonSmile when purchasing from Amazon? That’d give our students something to smile about for sure!

Parking Reminder – No parking is allowed across Levick street from Palouse Prairie during winter months. Ticketing begins December 1st. Please remember not to park there. We’d hate for any of our families to receive a ticket!

Moscow Mobile Pantry – Monday, December 17, 2018 from 2 – 4pm at 212 West 8th St. in Moscow for anyone in need of food assistance. First come, first serve basis. For more info contact Alyce at Crites Seed Inc., 208-882-5519

Please check the Lost and Found! We hate to see nice clothes purchased for your kids end up going to a thrift store.
