Palouse Prairie Charter School will hold a June annual election for Board of Directors seats with 3-year terms running July 2025 – June 2028.
This year, we will have three open seats for the Board. Palouse Prairie Charter School Community members are invited to become candidates for these Board positions. Two incumbent board members plan to run for a second term.
What does the Board do?
The PPCS Board of Directors is responsible for ensuring that Palouse Prairie Charter School has strong leadership, high student engagement and academic achievement, clear policies, sound finances, and effective fundraising.

- You are able to consider decisions in light of what will best serve the whole school community, including students, teachers, and families.
- You would like to share your experience in fields like finance, operations, education, law, human resources, marketing, fundraising, construction, landscaping, etc.
- You have 8 to 10 hours a month, year-round, to devote to board service and commit to attending board meetings (typically once a month);
- You welcome the opportunity to serve as an active ambassador for the school, representing it positively in the community.
