The Community-led Learning Program at Palouse Prairie School engages our students in real-world learning, out in the community, across a spectrum of experiences that foster the design principles of our school:

Goals for PPSEL's Community-led Learning Program
- Students will gain a greater knowledge of our community and learn about the efforts and individuals and organizations that support our community.
- Students will be exposed to an individual's role and responsibility as a member of a community
- Students will become empowered and contributing participants through serving in our community
- Students will take risks and accept challenges in new situations
- CLL sessions will be grounded in Expeditionary Learning Design Principles
- Students will be exposed to a wide variety of course offerings. New abilities and interests may be discovered.
- Parents will be provided opportunities to share interests and talents with students and participate in the learning experience with their child.
Have a unique talent, burning passion, or expert profession that you'd like to share with our K-4th grade students? You are welcome to instruct any topic you would like for any of these sessions:
-Winter Session: January 11th through February 8th
-Spring Session: February 22nd through March 28th
-Late Spring Session: April 11th through May 9th

Don't have the time to plan and instruct a module? We also need invaluable volunteer assistants to be with each instructor for assistance in the classroom or on off-site trips.
